Florida fans destroy ESPN’s Brian Griese following comments about Feleipe Franks, demand an apology

Although doctors haven’t confirmed, Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks is most likely out for the year after suffering a severe ankle injury against Kentucky.

On fourth down in the third quarter down 21-10, Dan Mullen decided to go for it. The Gators coach called a pass play, and Franks rolled out of the pocket. He decided to keep it and try and pick up the first down, but he was hit by multiple Kentucky defenders and bent backwards. It was a devastating scene, and Kroger Field went silent.

During the broadcast, ESPN’s Brian Griese mentioned that Franks has had some “off-the-field issues” at Florida. Gators fans were quick to point out that that’s incorrect, and that Franks has been nothing but a great teammate during his time at Florida. Sure, he’s been criticized for some of his on-field antics — most notably during the Miami game, but aside from those minor blips, Franks hasn’t had any issues.

Griese might want to check his mentions. Florida fans are demanding an apology.
